About MoJazz Dance
MoJazz Dance is a performance and learning entity composed of a performing dance company, modern jazz dance classes, choreographed works and performances that offer opportunities for audience engagement.
MoJazz Dance is a Brooklyn, NY- based performing arts company, comprised of women of a certain age, currently 50 - 75 years young. Our choreographed works reflect themes that are relevant to our experiences as women of color. We perform for the empowerment of all. MoJazz Dance welcomes students to join us for open-level Modern Jazz Dance classes, in-person or virtually, whether they have danced before or always wanted to.

MoJazz Dance celebrates life through movement, inspires with heart, and uplifts with spirituality to convey positivity, reflecting common human experiences and emotions to promote a sense of community with our audiences and participants. We create space and opportunity to connect as human beings, heart to heart, through shared movement experiences and encourage the dancers in each of us.
Our Vision
MoJazz Dance aspires to use movement as our instrument to touch the hearts of as many human beings as possible and leave behind a smile, a hug, a thought, a positive feeling, a joyful connection in our communities and beyond.
